I actually quit my job when I had my son and never planned on working from home, but I got into freelance writing and then I discovered that I could make my own money online instead of making money for other people. It will take time, but there are some great products and tools out there that can help you. So many people give up on Internet marketing after only a few weeks or months. It could possibly take up to a year or longer to really see some regular money coming in, but the way that I look at it, I can choose to take a couple days off and not work and then log in after 4 or 5 days and see that I made money on the days I didn't even turn the computer on.

I would have to say because of affiliate marketing I am where I am today, I started when i was 18, now 21 and I don't have to go to a 9-5 job where it feels like jail. I work when I want, where I want, from my own home. Now I own a affiliate network myself so the 9-5 thing changed but affiliate marketing is definately the way to go about making revenue online.

I have been an Affiliate marketer for about a year and a half and things are going pretty well. I am currently making extra steady income from my affiliate products. My goal is to quit my job within the next year. Good luck with your business.

Default If my plan works!

If my plan works, I will be quitting my job in about 3 months.
I am a real estate agent, so you can imagine what the recession has done to my business there.

Hey! Good on you Norene. A year online shows you have the commitment to succeed. Sadly many people 'give it a try' for a few months, before dropping out, broke, and telling all their friends that everything online's a scam. Sad, sad, sad.

Could I suggest you make one small change to what you said above? Change 'I hope' to 'I will', set the goal and visualize and affirm it each day, and you cannot fail.

Gonna be a great Xmas for you!
