Though it is hard to turn away from "low pay" when you need to pay
the bills, I would challenge all of us, that even if we continue with
low paying and degrading jobs, to at least work on ONE PIECE every
week, that is from our hearts, not full of keyword percentages and
Google friendly phrases, and be ready to submit them to "higher paying
markets" whether that is magazines, newspaper, or a novel that is to be
submitted for publication.

My biggest fear for all of us, is that we will become complacent and
limit ourselves to writing SEO content and Forum Blogs for a buck, and
deny the truly creative writer that lurks within, who is screaming to
be released.

Google adsense has nothing to offer any of us that can ever replace
the honest gift of the written word that has been given to each of us.

Not only are we selling ourselves short, for bill money, but we are killing our own creativity.

Pay someone money to "let me write cheap keyword content articles?"

That is the lowest insult that we as writers can inflict upon ourselves!

So, I challenge you, no matter what you do with writing to pay
the bills, to make sure that you work on at least ONE PIECE of quality,
heart felt, creative writing so that you do not let the gift you were
given dry up and become a dead pile of unused words decaying underneath
a heap of Internet "friendly" articles.

This is exactly why I started WritersRemember.com. It's an encouraging site for writers that, and seeks to help them remember & rekindle their passion for writing. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in these thoughts!

Best,
