I eat about 1500-2000 calories a day. I eat high fat-moderate protein-low carb meals/food. I eat fresh/fresh frozen veggies - fruits, nuts/seeds, dairy, etc. I love the fact I get to eat butter on my veggies! I use healthy oils!! I have cut out sugar, most processed items, white flour etc. If I eat artificial sweetners, they are limited to 3 per day. I use heavy cream and davinci sugar free syrup in my coffee everyday.
I have lost 20 lbs in 2 months and have never felt better. I no longer have the food monster living in my brain. I no longer have the "cravings" or "binges". Food has become my friend, not my enemy. I sometimes "forget" that I'm suppose to eat as opposed to always be thinking when my next bite will be.
Amazing feeling.
