That's a good list of jobs, but in this economy you may need to expand your options a little. So I would urge you not to necessarily rule out independent contractor positions.

When you're an independent contractor you can deduct more business expenses than when you're an employee. And many tax return prep software programs can help make it easy. They will even calculate estimated quarterly taxes for you. Or you may just want to hire someone to do your taxes. But if it means find a job these days, it may be worth the extra expense.
