No wonder there is so much confusion. I don't know why this forum is listed with just an acronym for the company instead of their name, and why no website address has been listed

Here's what I found:

Customer Loyalty Concepts

Their website is:

http://www.customloyal.com/

It appears to be a customer retention company. They equip you with software to field customer complaint calls. All phone work is done over the internet, as far as I know.

From their site:
Quote:
Our employees will make calls that are scripted to assist our clients with their ultimate needs. These calls are typically customer service based. You can expect to make simple and short-lived calls. Examples would be qualifying leads, confirming customer satisfaction, reminders and requesting information for short surveys. To better help you understand the work you will be doing, you might want to go to the Resource Library tab on this site. Our employees will only be calling existing customers or people who have provided written permission to contact them. There is NO cold calling!!!

Beginning pay depends on your campaign and any bonuses incurred. It ranges from $8 to $10 per hour plus bonuses. You are paid for "on hook" calling time only. Tasks such as reading your daily email and entering billable hours would be the same as driving to and from work at a job outside of the home. Colorado is a no-pay training state, however, we believe that training is critical and essential so all employees will be paid for training. You will receive your training pay once you are released from training and have completed 24 hours of live dialing. Compensation for work performed shall be paid every other week. You will receive a check in the mail or a direct deposit to your checking account (you are not eligible for direct deposit until you have been an employee for 90 days). CLC prides itself in paying all invoices promptly and on time!

We are looking for self-motivated and flexible employees with a personable, professional and enthusiastic voice. We require each employee to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. The calling is done Monday through Friday.

If you are employed outside of the home, we have found you would not have the time required to work for CLC.
The requirements are:

Quote:
ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW MUST BE MET IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Since we all work from home, part of our job description is that we check our voice messages and email a minimum of 3 times a day Monday through Friday.

* Any type of reliable voice messaging. Cell phone voice messaging is acceptable. Not an answering machine.
* Reliable email provider.
* Strong computer proficiency is a MUST!
* Pentium IBM compatible or better PC. NO MACINTOSH.
* Windows XP SP 2 or better.
* Minimum 1 GB of available RAM.
* Minimum 1 GB of available hard drive space.
* Broadband high speed Internet connection, (Cable or DSL only).
* Current/updated anti virus protection.
* A working printer attached to your PC with ink and paper.
* Mozilla Firefox Internet browser.
* USB headset plugged into your PC.
* A quiet area to work in with no interruptions or background noise.
* Reside in the continental United States, in one of the 26 states we hire in.
* You must be over the age of 18.
* You must have a social security number or work permit number.
* You must have a high school degree or GED.

ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS ABOVE MUST BE MET IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT! NO EXCEPTIONS!

WE ONLY HIRE IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES
CLC hires in most states. There are extensive costs involved in certain states with unemployment laws that prohibit us from hiring in those states.

We are currently ONLY hiring in the following 26 states.

Alabama Louisiana New Mexico
Arizona Maine North Carolina
California Michigan Ohio
Colorado Minnesota Oklahoma
Florida Mississippi Oregon
Georgia Missouri Tennessee
Illinois Montana Texas
Iowa Nebraska Virginia
Kentucky Nevada
There is a speed test website you must connect to in order to measure your download, upload and ping times. The instructions are on their website. I have no idea what the minimum speed is in order to be considered, but I would imagine all broadband should be adequate, if their interface is anything like Skype.

I applied to the email address some months ago and never got an answer. I resent the application today.
