I work for them and have been activated. Joe is pretty busy and he doesn't always get back to you. You'll just have to email him again or get him on yahoo, but come to think of it, he hasn't been on there either. You can always email Tom the owner.

Some cons are their software can be a pain to install. I passed in January and didn't get activated until March and then I had to uninstall and re-install their software.

A rule of thumb when testing for any transcription company is the actual transcription test shouldn't really be any longer then 5 or 10 minutes. Their test file is an hour long. And I know that is to weed out the wannabe's, but I really think 15 min would have been absolutely fine.

I finally did try to take a file back in March. I couldn't see how long it was and I knew I wanted a short file because I never know when I'll get called to teach or drive. Well the file was 45 min long and I had gotten 15 min of it done and then my circumstances changed. I let them know that I would not be able to meet the TAT (in plenty of time, of course) and so was told to get it reassigned to someone else. Which I did. I also let them know that I was more than willing to pass on the work that I had already done to the next person and they could take credit for the whole thing, but they don't work that way. The next person had to start from scratch.

And I'm sorry, but I just don't agree with that. I think people within a company need to work together and be teammates and help each other out when needed. But again, that is just my opinion.

However I am fortunate to work for some other companies that do promote teamwork in a friendly atmosphere and help thru the company or team mates is always available.

From what I understand they have seasonal work. I get a status email from them every hour, 24/7 and right now they have some files available. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

Hope that helps.
