Funny to some, perhaps - but not surprising and potentially
highly relevant, too. I hesitantly gave my opinion, announcing openly that it was mostly second-hand information, because I've done a
lot of research on Site Build It (having at one time been very close to using it myself).
I decided not to, after much of what I learned, and I think when someone's asking for an opinion on whether or not to try something, hearing from someone who's done quite a bit of research and decided against something is probably going to be a very legitimate and potentially helpful use of the forum, don't you? That's certainly included in what I'd want to be hearing, if I were asking these questions myself.
Otherwise you can only ever really hear from "enthusiasts", and although that may be just as relevant a perspective, it can also be a little one-sided, you know? So I hope that when I ask about stuff myself, people who have had a good look, discussed it with many users and then decided against it will feel
very welcome to reply, without being inhibited by people pointing out that they're giving an opinion without having used the product!
