I read an interesting report on the Internet that 3.9 million students were enrolled in at least one online course in the fall term of 2007. I was even more surprised to find out that the growth in online student population far exceeded the overall growth in higher education student population. Now, that is a solid statement in favor of online and distance learning courses. I am also thinking of enrolling into an online degree program offered by Independence University. The university is highly reputed and has been offering top quality
distance learning courses for over 30 years now.
