The only way you can get on with the company is, yes, by referral. The person referring you will get 10% only of the raw transcription files you do.
Not true, I emailed the general email listed on the site and the reply took around 2 days, and was a reviewer within a week or so. And the same thing happened to me, my "corrections" were almost always incorrect and the raw trans was better left alone. I actually like doing the raw trans. better because as many corrections that have to be made to most of the raws and with stopping to insert codes, etc I end up transcribing much faster. However there is always like 4 times the amount of work in the reviews section so that's the only reason I ever do it. The only time I get both raw and reviewed trans done in under 15 minutes is when the speaking is clear. Otherwise, I have to stop and stop and usually average that measly 2.00 an hour that is a waste of time. More than likely the majority of callgraphers are in India and thus are making big money (to them).
