Mine doesn't make much money. I probably loose a couple hundred a year, but as time goes on, it does better. I own a parenting site and community forum for moms, dads and parents to be. We turn 2 in March! I'm proud of it. I have found the more I add content and keep the boards busy, we generate more traffic. But we're still growing and nothing huge like parents.com or anything like that. But I like the intimacy of my site. There's no advertising on the boards. No pop up ads or anything too flashy. It's all about desire. Most people would have quit with a site like mine because it's not generating enough money. I realize that it'll take 2-5 years before I can turn a strong profit from this.
