Do you have an address for her? Just curious. I think I'd have to send a certified letter to her putting her on notice. I'm still in shock. I did that to my husband's boss when she suddenly closed the doors without giving notice. She was supposed to have paid us like I think three or four days before, and nothing. So, because I'm in the legal field, I wasted no time. I put her on notice that I would be contacting an attorney to deal with the matter if we did not get his certified check by a certain date along with his vacation and sick leave pay. I even gave her the amount down to the penny!!!!!!! And I think three days before the deadline, we got both certified checks because I was not accepting personal or "payroll checks" and take the chance of them bouncing.

In this day and time, you have to stand up or people will walk all over you.

Good luck!
