I don't know about your company specifically, but most of the plans that direct sales businesses offer reps are individual health plans not a group plan like she would have through her work. Since her husband has a pre-existing condition it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to get individual coverage. Again, I don't know about your co, but just giving something to think about before she gets her hopes up.

You're in my prayers. We have a family member who has required 24/7 care for the past year (thankfully she's nearly fully recovered now, but still needs help). I can't imagine what we would've done if we hadn't had family & friends who could help while her husband continued to work full-time. I hope you find the right resources for your family to make life less stressful. Does he qualify for any sort of home care that your insurance may cover? The site that Ron & Terry recommended also sounds like something to look into. I hope you have someone who can be a support for you, too. This is a lot for you to handle alone.
