No rollovers
I Understand that its necessary to have advertising on the forum in order to keep it going...HOWEVER the advertisers should be secondary to your members.
You should NOT PERMIT any ads with that rollover crap on the board. It is so freaking annoying that I want to scream every time it blocks my whole screen with its ad because my mouse brushed past it.
EVEN if I was REMOTELY interested in what they were advertising, at this point I'd NEVER bother seeing what they have to offer because they have throughly turned me off with their misuse of the advertisement.
I feel that we should not need to do something special to prevent this but Advertisers on wahm should not be permitted to submit that type of ad. We as wahm users can't have more than 2 lines in our signatures among other rules we need to abide by, so I feel that some rules should be applied to advertisers too ....especially no rollover ads.
