It's hard in the beginning. Just make sure you start a site that you're passionate about. Don't just make a site and throw a bunch of links on it. Right now my main website is a weigh loss site that is documenting my progress in losing a lot of weight. In the U.S. it's already ranked in the 300,00's by Alexa.com. I post frequently and actually cover a lot of things in depth. Any income I am making is through adsense since I'm still researching some good Affiliate ads. Also, I finally broke down and am having someone design my site for me. Then I plan to market it more. Just keep going at this part time and hopefully some day you'll be able to "retire" from nursing. I'm sure it will be a great feeling! I can't wait. My goal is by August of 2010 when my son starts Kindergarten.

Tawny, do you realize you can do great at affiliate marketing just using WordPress, or even with a good lens on Squidoo - I make about $50 a day off just one lens - why spend your time and money on, presumably, very professional websites?
Time that may be better used on promotion and
SEO.
