Thanks for the heads up. I had something similar pop up on my computer a while back, but I doubt mine was connected to LinkedIn. I haven't approved any new requests from them in a long time and I've never approved anyone I didn't know.

When the popup came up, I immediately clicked on the McAfee icon in my tray, NOT the popup. I figured if something really was wrong, McAfee would have a notification on the console, which it didn't. I ended up shutting my computer down just to be on the safe side. I also told my kids and husband that if they ever get a popup like that to not click it and just to shut the computer down.

They look VERY legit so I can't even imagine how many people actually click on it and then end up with some virus on their system.
