Just about anything in a crock pot. Seriously. It makes the house smell yummy all day, and it's always cozy.

Crock pot stew.

about 2 cups of cubed small stewing beef.
4 ish cups of cubed potatoes.
2 or 3 carrots sliced
Diced onion (if you want to.) OR a quarter minced fresh garlic clove
a can of cream of mushroom OR cream of celery soup.
fill that can with water and add some beef stock (I use 3 tablespoons or so of Watkins.)
a couple of shakes of pepper (I use a garlic pepper blend also from Watkins.)

mix it all together right in the crock pot

let it go for at least 7 hours on low.

This one, I've done so much, that I really don't measure anything. I've doubled this without issue (although I'll sometimes put it on high for the first 2 hours, then low for the rest, if I'm doubling it.)

It's so yummy.
