Answers to Website questions... and my two cents :)
Do you have one?
Yes
How long have you had one?
A year
What is the one thing you look for in a website?
Good layout, readability, great content and good graphic design. I also like the ability to update content myself. Through my job history, I have found this to be a great feature, especially when in startup mode or a small business. In the past I have used a graphic designer to build the site according to my or my client's requests then managed it with
Adobe Contribute. Now, I use SnapPages to build my site, and sites for clients. They have a free option or a pro account which many of the businesses I work with use. I find it easy to use for layout - and I can turn the site back over to my clients to update as they want.
I have long been a believer that in today's times, the website is the new front door to your business and ensuring that it looks professional is essential to credibility.
