I notice that when I flavor my water (using either something like crystal light or Propel - with minimal calories added and no sugar), I definitely drink more than I would have had I been drinking regular water.

Something my mother used to do often - she'd squeeze a lemon wedge into water and added a packet of sweetener of her choice (Sweet and Low at the time). She did this with every glass of water. Could be to hide the taste of the tap water way back then (though I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary) - who knows. But it's a great idea and it's a natural flavor enhancer (the lemon... not the S&L lol)

Just noticed I never actually answered the question. I do not make my quota of water. It's not for lack of trying, as I keep water at my desk at all times, and to refill it is simply a few steps away. The nature of my job can be so intense that I literally "lose myself" in problem solving so that before I know it, several hours have gone by.
