I got my book sample back. They said everything was fine except when you turn the book sideways with the pages facing you, the pages slanted at the top and bottom. The sample they sent me is like that, so I didn't think I had to worry about that. Oh well.

I have been wondering where they get the samples they send. Are they pieces from approved kits from other crafters that they have accepted and would normally be for sale? I figured that's what they are, so I always thought that if you at least made your stuff as good as the samples you would be fine. Now I'm wondering if they are not-so-perfect pieces from accepted kits that they have pulled out that they can't sell so they send them out as samples instead of selling them. That's not really fair.

Anyway, the slanting thing seems pretty easy to fix. Again, I won't get to it until December until I'm back from my trip.

I'm not getting any vaccinations for the flu or swine flu. Just being careful what I touch, staying warm and washing my hands very frequently. I'm a little worried about getting on a plane, though. The air is not very sanitary, but not much you can do about that.
