We met in a court-appointed traffic class. You know the classes you take after a speeding ticket to keep the points off your drivers license? It was like that except a judge said we both had to go. We ended up sitting beside each other during the class. He asked me out afterwards. The rest is history.
What is your story?

What a fun question!
Well, first of all - I'm embarrassed to say I've been married TWICE before - I met my first hubby when we both worked together in a group home for mentally challenged folks. The marriage was very short-lived (just a few months), as he was abusive - we were together long enough for me to get pregnant with my only son.
My second marriage - my 3 daughters' father - I met him at my friend's house, as her folks owned an apartment building and HE was a tenant. I was a single mom with a 2 y.o. when we married - we remained married for over 20 years, but after being 'controlled' and not allowed to pursue more education or a career, among other issues - we divorced about 10 years ago.
THEN ... I met Dave through online dating (glad to see I'm not the only one!) - LoveAccess - I was born and raised in NH, he has lived in Maine all his life - we chatted online for about a month (Dec. 2002), exchanged photos, then he asked if he could call me on New Year's Eve - we "rang in" the New Year together ... THEN ... he drove to NH to meet me (in a snowstorm!) on Jan. 4th, 2003. We visited back and forth between Maine and NH for a few months - then, since I was between jobs, he asked me if I wanted to move to Maine. We have been together ever since - got married on Feb. 11, 2006 - and he is truly the love of my life (third time's the charm!)
