People don't want to discuss government health care rationing who support the bill because it is "uncomfortable." However rationing is at the heart of this bill. There is only a finate amount of money to spend on health care. When that runs out we move to rationing. Rationing creates an incredibly ugly ethically dark power base. Who lives, who dies. That will be in the hands of our government.
If you read the history of Progressives in the Democratic party they don't have an issue with this. There is tons of writing on the topic stated openly and honestly. The early progressives were at least honest in what they presented on the topic. Now we are being openly lied to about it.
There is no way to provide the kind of programs they are talking about without rationing. So who do you trust to be on this board deciding who lives, who dies? Who is worthy of a doctor and who not? The government is low on my list of people I want making those choices.
However, people keep wanting to tip toe around this issue when discussing this bill. There is no way around it. Grandma has to go. Don't hold out much hope for the weak and the sick of any age either. Think this is outrageous than look at the bill, read the history of the people running these programs and ask yourselves why you trust them.
