I asked for clarification about whether or not the offer made to me was commission only, I was told it was a partnership and a sweat equity position worth 60% commission. I said I couldn't work on 100% commission and wished them well. They did not come back and clarify. They told me "All the best." If I was wrong, why didn't they tell me that $5 per post was part of my budget?
Andrea requested clarification about the $5-$25 per post and was banned. No one told her that YES, we would get base pay plus commission. If she'd had her answers, perhaps she'd still be in training.
I don't know anything about anyone else but I do know that both Andrea and I respectfully requested clarification and were both left to believe that it was commission only in my case or that questioning their compensation plan in Andrea's case warranted being banned.
I'm not sure if they went back to the drawing board and came up with a new plan but the fact remains that three people all individually felt that something wasn't right and at least two of us handled it professionally and respectfully and got no clarification.
Whatever happens, I wish everyone luck but as I said, I am merely providing information to my online friends. Many of those online friends have helped me in the past with warnings and alerts. I didn't call out the company publicly and didn't attempt to harm anyone's reputation. I simply advised what happened so others would have that information before signing up. That's all.
