Customer Loyalty Concepts, commonly referred to as CLC, is a company that services newspaper subscribers in many different customer service areas including but not limited to renewal reminders, welcoming new subscribers to the newspaper and minor collections. It is OUTBOUND calling; however, not cold calling. You work through the program that they provide for you and calls are routed through a number as not to cause you to incur long distance charges on your phone bill.

This company pays hourly and has minimal requirements to start. There are no fees associated with training. You get paid for 7 hours of training. Training is three weeks total. Your hours a limited in those weeks as they want you to use that time to learn the system and what is expected of you. The pay is 7.00 per hour during that period. You must be able to commit a minimum of 12 hours per week. This is not too hard to do but is rewarding just as well. You ARE an Employee of this company working under part time terms regardless of the hours you work, but they handle all the tax contributions and it is steady income that you can depend on.

Upon completion of training you are then allowed to schedule as many hours as you want but must be realistic in the amt of time versus the quality of work. Campaigns will be assigned to you and the pay ranges per campaign you do. Campaigns are available at $7.00, $9.00 and $11.00 depending upon assignment. Work can be done through out the day as long as you are meeting the requirements per the campaign you are working. Most of my work is done in the evenings once my family is here to help out with other things we have going on.

CLC has an awesome bonus structure to reward you for your efforts and the management is extremely helpful and understanding as long as you do not take advantage of them or the flexibility available as with any telecommuting position.

One of the important things to remember is that as with any job you work it is important that you go into it exactly as of what it is….A JOB!!!!!!! You have to fulfill your end of the employment agreement to maintain employment. Hiring is done on an as needed basis and persistence is the key in being able to obtain gainful employment with them.

Many people find that this is not the position for them and others love the work they do. It does take a special person to work in any type of customer service industry. My suggestion would be that this would make a great job to gain experience in working from home yet still bring in a decent income for what you put into it. It is completely proactive as you are making the calls and not waiting on them as with some of the other csr jobs out there. The training is quite thorough so that you know what you need to know before you get started and someone is always available to handle any questions that you may have.

I work approximately 12.5 hours a week right now because of activities that my children are in. I average over 200 per pay period and am generally done by 6p for the time zone I am calling. I enjoy the work I do. I recently received a promotion with clc. I spread that time out through the day because we just have to tell them how many hours we would like to work but don’t have to be specific about when we are working as long as our contact rate is acceptable. Contacts are the only way to really prove that we are working to our fullest potential with everyone working from their own homes.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS ASTICKY SO IT STAYS AT THE TOP???????
