You're right, this can be boring when the contacts are not answering or home. There are many cell phone and work numbers, Friday I called a lady who worked for the newspaper company I was calling for, and I didn't get in touch with her, but she called me back. I explained why I was calling and she said she worked for the newspaper I called about and she didn't order the paper, but thought her young son had oredered it under her name. Whenever I'm in my office will always answer the phone, and most time I can get the info I was calling about. I know this doesn't count as dialing time, but helps to improve you're contact #'s. I'm dreading calling thewest coast, but will do my best; we all know you can't make them answer the phone.
It's pretty cool when you can work when you want, run errands when needed, and do the normal household chores that need to be done. But since I'm new, I start stressing when I'm not reaching my contacts, and then work over the hours I committed for, and then not bill for allthe hours I worked. Trying to keep my contact rate good, which is difficult when you get some bad files.
Any suggestions you may have please post them, for I actually know very little, just going into my third week of live dialing tomorrow.I hope to be a good asset to CLC in the future, and the extra money will really help.
