Wow -- thanks for all that, Threestars -- very interesting stuff.

I *DO* know a couple of other psychics who were abused as kids or who had traumatic home-lives growing up ..... but I'm not sure I would say that most psychics are abused. That doesn't fit with what I've seen. - Then again, it is my observation that a lot of people who experience the "paranormal" are those who have had a lot of intensity (of varying degrees) in one form or another their formative years.

Light bulbs exploding is one I've heard of through the years too -- also watches stopping, other electric interference. - My own crack theory is that maybe it happens because psychic-energy or other paranormal energetic phenomenon may occasionally interfere with (or draw from) the electromagnetic component of the kind of electrical flow that we use in our homes. --- But, just to be on the safe side -- you might have an electrician come to your house and make sure that you don't have a potentially dangerous situation with your wiring! -- A former co-worker had a similar thing with his lights and ended up having an electrical fire.

That's interesting about salty foods -- and makes sense. And I suffered from allergies and dizziness as a child.

-As for the radio -- that makes sense too. I can tune out psychic information and empathetic "vibes" at will -- I do not always tap into thoughts and the like. - But my own mental chatter and thinking is pretty constant. I'm always thinking -- I don't even know what people mean when they say they aren't thinking of *anything* --- I'm thinking of like seven things at once!My memory is abnormally acute too --yet some things I can't keep at all... like what DVD's I own. As a kid I had a strange phenomenon with my visual and hearing perception that was tested. I had photographic memory and I could also hear two simultaneous speaking voices and understand both. You're brain is really not supposed to do that -- but my wires were a bit wonky and I could. I believe this helped me be a better musician. -- And speaking of music -- I hear music all the time. --Not an auditory sensation (hearing it literally) -- but I have music in my mind almost 24/7
My mind has quieted as I've aged -- and I no longer have perfect photographic memory nor can I hear two or three things simultaneously without losing track of one or the other (like you're supposed to!) .... but I can still "overhear" things that just floor people!!!
