I tried powdered fox urine (yes, really); it is very stinky and expensive and it didn't work. We plant tomatoes and cucumbers every year; we've successfully kept the groundhogs out by using two layers of chicken wire fence with barbed wire around the top (for the climbers) and more at the bottom of the gate to our garden. So far, this has worked and we have a pretty good garden every year. It doesn't hurt either, that a hawk has recently nested in one of our trees. Now if I could get the deer and rabbits from eating all of my flowers... Happy Gardening!
