But I have come up with a 13 page guide that I have named, "How to Start Your Own Medical Billing Business."
I created this guide for people out there who think they might be interested in this field. My guide will give a person a good idea of what's involved with Medical Billing without spending a ton of money. This way they can decide whether it is the home business for them.
My question is, how do I effectively get the word out about my guide? I have a website, but don't have any visitors to it. How do I get more traffic?
If anyone has any info to help, I would really appreciate it.
I am interested in medical billing from home. I am trying to find more information on how the process works. I would love to hear from anyone who is doing this now, or has done this in the past. Please help. Send any information to rpsjv@att.net. Thank you for you time. signed--Hopeful
I don’t know how much you think you are going to learn in a 13 page guide but here is what I consider to be the best book out about the medical billing from home industry right now. I have read them all and have been in this industry for years so I know what is quality work. You can get more details at: http://pages.ivillage.com/6314/stelopm/
I am not saying that there might not be useful information in the other manual but after having first hand experience in this field I know that 13 pages couldn’t possibly break it down well enough for a new comer to the industry.
Good Luck to you in 2003

Yep, I second that! It is an ever-changing industry (this original post by Lisa Cherrington was pre-HIPAA) and although 13 pages might be a warm up or very basic overview it would take lots of additional education. I took a course at www.medicalbillingcourse.com which I thought was pretty good, and I also did a lot of "self-educating". Good luck to anyone who decides to go this route! I enjoy this line of work!
