Hi, I keep getting emails from various folks that link to a video or flash presentation about Profit Masters, but it doesn't say anything about the product that must cost atleast $1,000 or more. Thanks. Charlie
Step 2 has an extensive product page that will answer a lot of your questions. It is a personal development and wealth education product.
I have been involved for just over 7 months. I have been in marketing for 7 YEARS. I have a lot of experience and know what to look for in a company, and this one by far is nothing short of phenominal.

Hi Charlie:
When you're looking for a way to make extra income, your opportunity should meet 5 criteria:
-debt free stable company that's over 4 years old -very lucrative compensation plan -automated system to do most of the work for you -lots of support training -offer a product that alot people want, and there's not alot of people selling it
With Profit Masters and Emerald Passport, one can make an extra $4000 a month, part-time, with NO SELLING, NO TELLING, and no bugging your friends and family. The automated system does 95% of the work for you. The following website will give you more details on the products and the compensation plan. Enjoy! http://www.letsmake-6figures.com/emerald.htm

>> An automated system to do most of the work for you<<
While technology helps make our lives a bit easier in some respects, people don't build relationships with and buy from systems, they build relationships with and buy from people.
>> No Selling, No Telling. <<
In any real business, you are selling something, whether it be a product or a service.
One additional thing to look for, Charlie.. is a company or product you can market to prospective customers that will help you to build a solid, repeat, customer base.
While a nice compensation plan is great, and we all want to make more money, the opportunity and the product should take the customers' needs first in determining value.

For once, PattysPaper and I find something to agree on. As a lead broker with clients in more than 25 companies, I pretty much had my choice of any company and any top earner to partner with.
Personally, I chose not to get involved with EPI because of a few reasons. There ARE people making money there (including several of my clients) but it just didn't strike me as a business I wanted to base my future on.
Automation is a great thing. But, the idea that someone can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars just by sending people to watch a movie -- and never developing any skills as a human being -- is just not accurate.
And some reps in EPI -- not all -- seem to prospect by implying that this kind of income is all about "no skills require, anyone can do this, easy to do".
Again, this is a reflection on many of the people in EPI...not necessarily the company itself. But, as in the case with Amway/Quixtar, unfortunately the company is the one to catch the blame for what reps do.
I chose to join Liberty League International. They're based here in the United States, have an actual home office with a staff, customer service number and lots of human support. Plus, I'm enjoying offering an opportunity where someone pays their $1,500 and actually has something to show for their money.
I'm offering this an an alternate opinion in the same way that EPI has been offered on several threads concerning Liberty League International. I would recommend doing a careful comparison of both and making your decision based on facts, not hype. Find out which one is most closely in line with your financial goals and where you feel like you can have a long future.

Charlie, you bring up a good point here that I meant to ask about earlier...
You say you're getting lots of emails. Have you requested information on ProfitMasters or is this spam you're receiving?
OneUpAutomated is a company that was virtually identical in structure to Emerald Passport. I had some friends that made alot of money there. But, in the end, a multi-million dollar lawsuit forced them to close their doors because they were allowing their reps to send spam about their online movie.
From my understanding, EPI is offering an entirely different product than OneUpAutomated was.....but I'm still curious how EPI is handling the millions of spam emails that go out each week. I get several a week.

Charlie, Did you notice that every reply to your post came back with an opportunity for the same kind of profits but from a different company? Not one of them explained what you're selling for these "pyramid scheme" entrepreneurs. Claims of BIG money are just that with these people...claims. They don't tell you what you're doing until after you've done it, and when you finally find out, you're like, "How friggin stupid is this, but because I've already started, I might as well give it a shot." And then you start sounding just like these people, trying to get others to sign up...it's like you are working as a recruiter for recruiters.

Wow. More people bashing Emerald Passport. How original. How ignorant. What an absolute waste of time.
I have been in 9 different home businesses over 7.5 years, including Pre-Paid Legal, AmeriPlan, Liberty League, Coastal Vacations, and Mentors in Motion. I could not accomplish my goal - coming home full time - with any of them. I started with Emerald in June, 2004, and came home full time in August, 2004, and I haven't looked back.
All my past failures give me a different perspective on this crazy world of network marketing. Of course, this business is built on trust, which is built on relationships. But building relationships and selling are not necessarily the same thing.
EPI has a fantastic movie. [By the way, it's movie is the only similarily it shares with 1-Up Automated. Otherwise, every bizz opp that has spammers, and we all know every bizz opp has spammers, is just like 1-UP Automated.] The movie is an attention grabber with alot of hype, but people are not stupid. It's a commercial - that's all. It motivates people to ask for real info, the steak and not the sizzle.
We call these people to nudge them to a live Q & A call to hear a formal presentation, and to have a chance to ask questions. Then we call them again to see what questions remain, and direct them to one of dozens of tools designed specifically to answer their question.
One website sells the educational products. Another website sells the marketing system. Still another focuses on the tremendous potential of our industry, webucation, via a Forbes Magazine article. We are building a relationship and trust, and using the tools the company provides to sell, tell, and explain. If we try to sell or push or close, we lose. If we focus on relationships, and use the tools to help the prospects sort themselves into IN or OUT, we win.
Nothing is free, and nothing is easy. However, the EPI system is SIMPLE and can be taught to almost anyone who is willing to listen, practice, work, and understand that out of 100 leads, only 5 will become customers.
That's 95 "no's", either spoken or never contacted. I can get through 100 leads in a 50 hour week. The leads cost me about $1,000. My commissions on the 5 sales are $5,000, so my net pay is $4,000. I LOVE "NO'S"! I won't hear my 5 "yes's" unless I get my 95 "no's".
What's the one thing you don't want to hear? "I don't know." Get a yes or a no and move to the next one.
By the way, just for the bashers, Emerald Passport is not in Panama to avoid the FTC. Here are the facts. The company, incorporated in 1990, was originally called British Overseas Transcontinental Corporation. It was a licensed broker in international finance. This was a very common type of business in Panama which, due to the Panama Canal, the world's second largest Free Trade Zone and the world's second largest international banking center, has an ongoing need for international financial companies. In the early 2000's, the company name was changed to Emerald Passport when they successfully negotiated an exclusive agreement to distribute the webucation products of Investors Educational Seminars, thereby gaining entry to the explosive industry of on-line education.
So you see, Emerald was a 15 year old company already headquartered in Panama. They do have a real office and a real staff, and a product you can see before you buy it. If they have to be headquartered in the USA to be considered worthy, then I guess we have to stop buying any products from Sony, Toyota, Nissan, Audi - you get the idea.
One last thing. I am sick of Mother PayPal. I have many friends that have lost $1,000's to them. Just do a search on "PayPal Alternatives" to see what I mean. Why am I telling you this?
Well, I got myself a real merchant account, and left PayPal for good. The real merchant accounts don't mess around. So they looked at the EPI product, decided it was worth $1295, but insisted on a 30 day money back guarantee to keep in line with VISA and MasterCard guidelines. So now I have a 30 day guarantee for my customers. It feels great - just like a real business.
Also, what scares a new person more than the startup costs - the cost of advertising, or at least it should scare them more. Remember that in EPI, the first 2 sales go to the sponsor, and the 3rd sale and $1,000 goes to the new person. So here's what I'm doing now.
I get the $1,000 commission on the new person's product purchase, and on their 1st 2 sales. Therefore, I cover all their advertising costs for the 2 sales they give to me, and the third sale that makes them $1,000. Their out of pocket risk is limited to the start up costs only, and they have a 30 day money back guarantee to see if I'm a straight shooter.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I've got a winner here, and, to me, that's what selling is really all about. It's not fancy dancing or smoke and mirrors. Rather, it's designing a deal where there are only winners and no losers. So far, it's working.
Good night & God Bless,
Rich

My advice would be not to consider any system or "course" that costs over $1000 up-front. Not to mention one with no satisfaction guarantee. Emerald Passport and Profit Masters are just really expensive multi-level marketing schemes, and as always it's not the regular guys like you and I who are making any money. You will definitely not learn to market with this product, and consider whether you have the conscience to sell a worthless product to some hopeful but unsuspecting victim. Shame on the people marketing Profit Masters, although most are just trying to make up their $1000. To anyone considering purchasing their products, please consider that $1000 would be better spent on real courses, educational books and videos.

Rich responds - "Actually, Emerald Passport does strictly enforce a 100% money back guarantee after a full 4 day trial period. I use a real merchant account, so I increase that to 30 days. I don't think you've seen the courses, because if you had, you certainly wouldn't make such ridiculous statements."

Rich responds - "It's not even close to MLM.You are embarassing yourself. There are no levels, and only one person receives the commission on a sale."

Charlie's original question was never answered in this entire thread. WHAT ARE THEY SELLING? I don't want you to tell me about mlm schemes, levels, 2-ups, just THE PRODUCT. Is anyone that knows what it is Brave enough to reveal the "Secret"? lol Thanks.

Hi Charlie, My own experience using this marketing system (platform) has found it to be of a high quality standard; its highly automated multi-media features are excellent! It provides an awesome set of integrated marketing tools in support of Emerald Passport' Wealth and Self webucational product. Most importantly, in my view, is that the product itself is of excellent value... Right product, right time! People will benefit and are hungry for this type learning (library) multi-media package, in today's debt-ridden, financially challenged society. Many folk are also in search for a sensible new way to successfully escape the daily 'rat race' and enjoy their lives and precious time....good luck in your journey!
