Something you may want to look into, as this is the MLM forum, is a good MLM. Many have a very substancial earning potential and some will be able to help the beginner get into profit very quickly. I stay home with my daughter and made a profit the first month I worked with my TEAM. It can be found - just know what you want from a comapny. I'd love to talk with you more, just drop me a line.

This sounds like the right opportunity for you. I know it is for me:
Hello my name is Juanita Cozart and I am an everyday person with a vision to live my dreams.
I have done my own research and found an opportunity for everyday people like myself to have an opportunity to enjoy the things they want to do in life. Be your own boss, instead of being a slave to a 9 to 5 job even though the money may or may not be good.
I am so excited to tell you that I have stumbled across that opportunity with AMERICAN COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK.
This opportunity will allow you to be able to take back control of your time, work when you want to and enjoy more time with your family and friends.
COMPENSATION:
This remarkable business opportunity is the power of residual income. Representatives receive a percentage of the customer's monthly bills for as long as they continue to use the services i.e., utilities(deregulation only happens one time), paging, internet and long distance. Every time you develop a new customer or help an existing customer with an additional service, you give yourself a raise.
TRAINING:
Regardless of how good the opportunity is, nothing is more important to a representative's success than its training system. Training is provided to representatives through a comprehensive video and audio system that allow them to develop their skills and build their businesses at your own pace. To add even more power to its training program, ongoing series of local, regional, national and international training events.
If you are seriously interested in finding out more about this tremendous, exciting opportunity to be your own boss, please don't hesitate to email me with questions.
If you desire to make unlimited income and also enjoy the time you will have, with owning your own business, then this is the business opportunity you want.

The best way to check out a company, is by checking with the Better Business Bureau. There are a lot of stuff envelopes scams out there. The internet has so many opportunities to offer the WAHM or wanna-be's. I like to sugguest a book for you to read. You can email me directly. Gina

It can be difficult to judge honest moneymaking programs from rip-offs simply because the "pitch" is mostly constructed and delivered in much the same manner. Hence the terms scam, con, etc. Many people have been taken in by scam artists and are not likely to stay quiet about it. There are many SCAM and ALERT web pages out there reporting their findings. Just search around a bit and you will find them. In fact that sounds like a good topic to add to this board. Anyway, I hope this helped a little. Best of luck, Daniel Burns danielburns56@yahoo.com

Hello Tammy. My name is Cathy and I would be very interested in hearing about your MLM business. I have been searching for over 13 months for a legitimate work at home program.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi...one thing you might check is if the company you are considering belongs to the Direct Selling Assoc....they have many requirements before they accept a company into their organization. Check out their website. www.dsa.com
If you are interested in teaching rubber stamping or scrapbooking then I'll be happy to tell you more about what I do and the company that I represent who is a member of this organization!

I really suggest when looking for something to do at home that you find honesty !! Without that you have nothing - dont fall for get rich quick scams - I've seen several MLM opportunities and I've been ivolved with them as well. Look for companies that have been in business for a solid amount of time -debt free and find out what kind of support they have ! Good Luck

It is very hard to know if they are honest - besides there are companies that specialize in this. They have machines that automatically stuff envelopes with several additional enclosures, these companies do this very cheap and the customer gets a bulk rate for mail. I would recommend it. I agree with the other writer- an MLM- the right one is a great way to earn income. I would love to answer any of your questions, if you are still looking. If you are skeptical - read wave3 or wave4 by richard poe, it has valuable information on MLM's and what to look for. Best Wishes.

I am a single mom and am struggling financially. Does anyone know of a "real job" that I would be able to do at home? I just want to be able to work regular hours and get regular pay! Of course, making alot of money would be nice too, but I am truly just looking for something that will provide secure and reliable income for my son and myself. I have followed links to different sites that claim to have only legit job listings, but they all want a fee to register! I am what you could call poor and honestly need help!! I am a very hard worker and a fast learner. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?? Please contact me at jumper73@earthlink.net Thanks

I know what you mean about not knowing if a company is legitimate. I have tried several and ended up being "taken" because they were not. I, however, have been lucky in finding two great companies that allow me to do my business from home and I have been VERY pleased with both. I am an Educational Consultant with DISCOVERY TOYS and a Senior Consultant with Pal Party. I would be happy to share information on either of these if you are interested. Please email me privately at FUNTOYS4KIDS@AOL.COM or feel free to visit www.palparty.com and use referral # 2030 for general information on that company. Good Luck and I hope to talk with you soon !!!

I too love my MLM!! It is a five year old Christain based company and it is booming!! I stay home with my five month old and there is no other way!! I would love to share some info with you, if you are interested!! God Bless and I hope you find what you are looking for!!
quote:Originally posted by rbasden: I know how hard it can be to find something legit. I run a Christian based business and if you email me I can direct you to my website. One does involve stuffing envelopes
To date, I have NEVER found a legitimate stuff envelopes at home. Here is what usually happens, you read an ad, you send money for a "kit". You get a couple of pieces of paper explaining to you to run an ad, well many ads actually like the one you responded to. For each person who sends you their money, you STUFF into an ENVELOPE those same two pieces of paper, and you keep the money. Now you've just scammed the next person (
Each time someone has told me that oh no theirs is different, they've never been able to back it up with proof.
Ask many questions, such as:
1. What is the name of the company and physical address?
2. What exactly will I have to do for my money?
3. What fees are involved and what do I get for my money?

Okay! Here is the exact reason that this forum is so necessary. YOu ar a new sahm and almost got involved with what I would call the worst of the worst biz opp.
For 5 1/2yrs since I started on my search (this type of biz was the first I saw and checked into) I have sent off for literally hundreds of these mailing opps. Guess what? It's no good! Sorry to turn your smile into a frown just consider yourself lucky that you didn't lose any money on it. First of all, they send you info, not mailing equipment. You are responsible for finding your own leads to send these mailers to. It is all around ridiculous and would take you hours on in to get it all done. You can do what you want, just consider yourself warned and be ready for an 'I told you so' from your hubby--LOL For real, you don't want to get involved. I have a couple of other opps you can try and decide what you like for an extra income. If you aern't interested, I would def keep posting for info b4 you get started in something else out there. Good luck to you--Stef wfhmommyof3@yahoo.com
