What company are you looking at? I am a merchandiser, but I don't do greeting cards. Hallmark only pays $7.00 per hour for a lot of work. I do merchandising for Kodak which pays $14.00 per hour.
American greetings pays more than Hallmark, but I don't know what.

Greeting card merchandisers don't always do resets. They also go in on a weekly basis and straighten and fill the racks as well. I know Lawerence Merchandising is looking for Greetingcard people in Target.
as for Kodak, you can submit a resume on www.msico.com They will contact you if they have openings in your area.

Merchandising is something I have been doing for 8 years. I go into retail stores place dvds or see if there product is placed on a shelf correctly. I also do pet supplies and greeting cards. There are several companies that do greeting cards. I also merchandise glassses and jewwlery. I enjoy it very much. You need to like to deal with management and associates. It can be a hard job at times because you do lift and stand alot.
