I had a membership...I found NO good job leads off it and got NO jobs from this site. I can only speak for myself but I would not pay for this service. Hope that helps.

I really do try not to bash other companies, since I own one myself. However, I'll make an exception in this case. About a year ago the owner of this company signed up as a member of my site, Telework Recruiting. They used their company/site e-mail, so I followed it to their site (which was under construction). I didn't care about it too much at the time because it is a Canadian site. I know Canadians have a very difficult time finding work from home, so I felt even if they did "borrow" a few of my job leads for their site for our Canadian friends, it wasn't that big a deal. Little did I know that they would market to the US, post bogus lures on major job boards to gain members, and then steal tons of my hard researched job leads! I found out because one day I started getting tons of resumes from members of their site. In all, I received over 200 resumes. What I learned had happened was: HomeCS copied some of my older job ads, and posted them on their site as "One day old". Their poor members were applying for positions that might still be open, but were by no means "one day old". I responded to as many resumes as I could, letting them know that 1) I was NOT the hiring company, and 2) the job they were applying to was not that recent. Many of them were pretty upset, to say the least. Many of them, from what I've heard, have tried to get their money back, and they couldn't. Now, HomeCS is operating under a couple different names. Here's the latest I could find in the bbb: "Based on the Better Business Bureau files, this organization has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to a pattern of unresolved complaints." From Telecommute Now.org: "Home Career Search In your telecommuting pursuits you are more than likely to come across the Home Career Search website. This site looks very professional proclaiming to offer legitimate work from home opportunities. Hopefully, the brief description below of our experiences and the recent experience of a Telecommute Now visitor will help save you some time and grief.
First, we have tried to contact this company on a couple of occasions. As of yet, we have not received any reply. And as in the experiences of one of our visitors this has been the case for her, also.
Recently, we were contacted by an individual asking our opinion of this site. She described having paid for the $29.95 membership for the Home Career Search website. She sent in her resume and contacted the company. She stated that she had not heard anything back from them. We regretfully told her that our experience was much the same.
With the combination of her experiences and ours, we decided to post this brief review of the Home Career Search website. Hopefully, you'll be able to make a better decision concerning this company and their offer.
If circumstances change we will update this review. You can click here to visit this site. But based on these experiences we can not currently recommend this site for finding legitimate work from home employment.
Rating: Not Currently Recommended"
I could go on....but I think you get the picture. I am personally very angry at this site, since I have been researching telecommuting jobs since 1993. That's a long time in this "field". And to have someone use and then MISuse my resources, making people bitter and suspiscious of me...that burns my buns. *breathe* Pamela Telework Recruiting www.teleworkrecruiting.com Where work & professionals are both at home.

I recently sent them my 29.95, (that was before I found this site of course), I've had to have sent about 20 resumes to various companies with no response whatsoever. I say its a ripoff!! And Monster.com has the nerve to post it!! Don't waste your money.
I CANT BELIEVE THAT!!!!! Not only taking your leads but then passing the older ones off to the members as new! I cant believe some people! errr, man that really erks me!!! I knew it wasn't a good source for job leads but had no clue about their shady behaviour I just don;t understand some people.

This subject makes me very sad.
I have a six year old son. I have looked and searched for a "work at home" job since I was pregnant with him. Do you have any idea how much time and money I have wasted? How many times I have cried my eyes out when I had to drop him off at child care so that I could go to work?
We need the opportunity to be at home. We also need the opportunity to earn a living. Our children need us. For someone to take advantage of our desperation is so wrong.
Sorry to get off on a rant. I check in here every day...and EVERY DAY there is some new scam. How sickening!
I really hope you all find what you are looking for...without too many bumps along the way. Thank goodness for places like this to keep us safe.

I too was dumb enough to register with them before I found this site. I had also been searching on my own for a while, and just about everything I saw on their site, I had seen on my own already.
I have also sent them a few emails already asking for my "guaranteed" refund and they have never replied to me.

Somebunny, Please don't say your were "dumb enough". Trust and hope aren't dumb. I admire your (and everyone else's!) continuous efforts to find WFH. And the fact that you don't give up shows how bright you are. Have you sent your refund information to the BBB and other sources? Let me know if I can help some how. This is great information. I was thinking about paying the $29.95 myself. I sent the following email to Monster about this:
**********************************
I subscribe to several Monster Search Agents, and I've often noticed one or two results from an organization called HomeCS, or Home Career Search. This company charges $29.95 for access to a database of work-at-home opportunities, and claims on its website to have a "100% satisfaction guarantee" policy.
Based on a Web search I conducted to find more information on this company, I have concluded that HomeCS appears to be operating a scam. Better Business Bureau has received numerous complaints, and the information shared on the following message board was very enlightening. http://www.wahm.com/boards/Forum73/HTML/002847.html
HomeCS seems to rely on bogus "testimonials" on its website to prey on individuals who would be attracted to telework opportunities. Then they simply do not respond to refund requests and keep the $29.95. The only parties that seem to be benefitting are HomeCS and Monster, which presumably is receiving a fee for carrying job listings from HomeCS.
Why does Monster choose to associate itself with a scam like this? Doesn't this tarnish your reputation also? Please advise.

Here is the response I got back from Monster. Not very encouraging, but about what I expected. Actually getting Monster to do something will probably require more messages like this, especially from someone who wasn't able to receive a refund from HomeCS.

One other option to recover your money is to file a dispute with your credit card company. You can file a dispute over charges for up to 6 months after they show on your statement. You will need to document your attempts to get a refund, and they will contact the merchant giving them 14 days to respond. If they do not reply then the disputed amount will be credited back to your account.
All of the major cards will cancel a companies account with them if they start receiving complaints of fraud.
