Most people have a philosophy or motivating beliefs that they live by. The question this week is:
What thoughts and ideas influence your life?

My faith in God is the backbone of my life. Without my faith in God, and His word, nothing would be possible at all. If I try to do anything my way, it won't work out. Only if I put my trust in Him and follow His will, will my needs and wants be answered.

I would have to agree with PandaBear. God is certainly my stronghold. Sometimes it's rough but I have to say that my belief in God is the key. My husband, my children are another influence in my life. Wanting to be that financial support for my husband. Although he decided to take on the full responsiblity of being the main provider of the family after my 2nd child was born, I know it is hard on him to work hard and try to make ends meet. He's not the only one who feels the pressure, I feel it too. So I must say God (1st and foremost) and my family.

Ditto. Faith in God. And the values that go along with that.
2 Thess. 3:13b: Never tire of doing what is right.
I Tim. 5:15 Always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

Here's the one that inspires me:
For God so loved the world that he gave HIS only begotten Son that whosoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting LIFE.

I succeed so that my children will know how to be successful. I want them to learn to enjoy life, and feel honest pride about their own jobs well done.
When I run into a problem I think, "Do I want to teach them to work hard, or take the easy way out?" I could get a full-time job, erase our bills, and never see my kids. That isn't the adult life I want for my children and their children...so I know I have to be a good example for them now.
Their futures are my driving force, and I'm proud of it.

My grandmother (she is 93 yrs old now) once told me "It`s a great life, as long as you don`t weaken." That has always stuck with me. That and "If you go looking for trouble you will find it" "Don`t do it the easy way- do it right. The easy way never seems as easy when you have to go back and fix it." and "Dwelling gives you wrinkles- get over it" Terry
