Does any one have any recommendations for web site hosts? I know there are a lot out there for all different price ranges, but how do you know that they'll be around for the year of service you pre-pay for. I need service with Frontpage extensions for around $8.00 per month. Any suggestions are appreciated.

It is $8.95 per month. I paid for a full year which was $100.00. They appear to offer the best deal in my opinion. I also have a web site hosted through www.hostsave.com. The email at hostsave.com has been going down quite a bit!
The service I have experienced at http://www.OneWebHosting.com has been wonderful!!! When you have a problem they get right with you to help you out!!!
I setup the domain registration through www.godaddy.com I registered through godaddy.com for 10 years @ $80.00....
From what I was reading at onewebhosting.com they also offer a resellers program which looks pretty cool! Might be a money making opportunity however I did not sign up with it because they want $89. per month and I can not afford it!!! :-(
My friends and I are in the process of starting our own business.... It's just starting and I'm looking into shopping cart options as well... Or trying to learn how to build a database via access which has been fairly difficult... I'm having problems getting the products listed!! ARGH!!
Oh well my web site is http://www.spirit4ever.com if anyone has any suggestions let me know. I could surely use them...
My business partners are not very familiar with the internet... They are going to focus on making the "mums" etc... I am going to focus on getting the internet side of things up and going.
Lots & Lots of work!! Plus I'm attending college!! :-)

I use Intermedia and highly recommend them. They have a great 24x7 support team, and their servers are up 99.99% of the time. I've been with them for 3 years, and they aren't going anywhere... Basic site package is $24.99, and it's worth every penny to know my site is always up and running.

I also offer hosting (see my sig line), but I use Tony at http://wahmshoppes.com for quite a few of my clients. It's only $6 per month (ad-free!), has FrontPage extensions, a FREE message board and a FREE storefront that integrates with the FREE Mal's shopping cart! Well worth the money and has some awesome features (and no, I don't get anything from Tony for the recommendation!).
I also use OneWebHosting.com, they do offer great service. I signed up with them and the price was lower, they must have changed their prices.
Well I got hosting for $8 per month and a free domain name. This is a really good deal. I took a look at a few other hosts, but they were a lot more expensive and they wanted me to purchase design software.

I use Endore.com and they are WONDERFUL!!! I pay $11 a month for 1gb of space and 30gb of bandwidth on a Linux server, and I've had them for almost a year. No downtime ever, very reliable mail server, just all around amazing.

I see you get paid to recommend them! Another good one in www.liquidweb.com very dependable, not the cheapest, but reasonable.
Don't pay more than $15 for a domain name EVER. Some of the big ones are crooks! I use www.000domains.com and they charge $13.50 for a new domain, $11.00 for renewals.

Hi All, I've just found a new web host. It's Active Web Hosting. It is only $10/month. NO transfer fee, free domain name, www.you.com. They seem to offer alot very reasonably.
I checked with the BBB and there has only been 1 complaint in the last three years and it was resolved. Check it out. I'm considering giving them a try. www.activewebhosting.com
