Oven Beef Stew

 
Oven Beef Stew is hearty enough to stand up to cold winter nights. Takes very little preparation, which your family will be thanking you for later!
Ingredients

2 pounds stewing beef, or whatever you wish to use
5 carrots
4 lrg potatoes
½ cup celery
½ green pepper
1 medium onion
any veggie that will take roasting etc.
8 ounces tomato sauce
3 tablespoons tapioca
1 can beef broth

Preparation

Step 1- Mix together in a small bowl the following: 1 can beef broth, salt, pepper, 8 oz tomato sauce, and 3 tablespoons tapioca. Pour meat and vegetables in roaster. Mix well. Cover and bake in 350 degree over for 5 hours. Do not peek or stir.
Yield: 4 servings
